CURRENT MEMBER VENUES

PGA Golf de Catalunya has proven a spectacular addition to the PGA European Tour Courses Group.  Located near Barcelona, between the Montseny mountain range and the Pyrenees, the original of the two 18-hole courses played host to the 2000 Peugeot Open de España and received numerous plaudits from some of the world's best players. 

In September 2005, PGA Golf de Catalunya once again hosted the European Tour Qualifying School, which it first hosted in 2001.

Both courses were designed, in conjunction with European Golf Design, by former European Tour professionals Neil Coles and Angel Gallardo, who have more than 25 European Tour titles between them. 

PGA Golf de Catalunya was awarded the position of 10th best golf course in Europe in 2003 by Golf World magazine.  The second course opened in the autumn of 2005.

Current developments include 400 residential units that are to be built over next eight years and a 150-room hotel, which is currently under construction.
