The Managing Director of Linna Golf, Petri Peltoniemi has a university masters degree in Sports Management.  He has played golf since 1979 and has worked as a Managing Director at various golf clubs since 1990.  Petri has been a member of PGA Finland since 1991.  Between 1991 - 1999, he was the Coach for the Finnish Junior National Team.  As a Managing Director, he worked at the holiday resort Katinkulta between 1990 - 1995, at St. Laurence Golf Clubfrom 1995 - 1998, at Talma Golf Club from 1999 - 2002 and at the Mercedes Benz Kullo Golf Club where he oversaw the construction of the golf course and club house from 2002 - 2004.  Petri has worked at Linna Golf since 2004.

 

Petri has been a Board Member of PGA Finland between 1993 and1997 and of the Finnish Golf Club Managers Association between 1999 and 2005.  In the area of tournaments, Petri was the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the 1997 Finnish Amateur Championship and Challenge Tour event, the Talma Finnish Challenge from 2000 to 2002.
