PGA European Tour Courses (PGA ETC) is Europe’s premier Group of championship golf venues.

PGA ETC owns, develops and manages high quality golf venues across Europe, famous for their golfing challenges and the excellence of their facilities and service.  In every instance, PGA ETC works with our Member Venues to ensure that they achieve the highest standards of operation and, in so doing, increase their profitability.

The Company was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between International Management Group and the PGA European Tour.  Our key objective remains the supply of outstanding golf venues that are capable of staging major professional tournaments.

Today, under the ownership of international businessman Denis O’Brien, PGA ETC also aims to deliver the ultimate ‘Home from Home’ golfing experience to all our Club Members and visitors.

Since 2001, PGA ETC has increased its number of Member Venues from three owned facilities to nine in total, following the addition of six Member Venues by License Agreements.  Currently, there are a total of twelve championship-standard 18-hole and three nine-hole golf courses within the Group.

In August 2006, Mauritzberg Golf Club in southern Sweden accepted an invitation to become a Member Venue of Europe’s foremost Group of championship golf venues when it opens in 2008.  The Baltic Sea residential golf venue is currently in development.

Macreddin Golf Club, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, became a Member Venue in September 2006, ahead of its opening in mid-2007.   This will increase our range of golf courses from 12 to 13 with the addition of the 18-hole Paul McGinley-designed course and this will be further expanded by a further 18 holes when Mauritzberg Golf Club opens in mid-2008.

The Company is currently constructing a third course in Quinta do Lago, while a second course has recently been completed and opened in PGA Golf de Catalunya, along with a 4* Meliá Golf Vichy Catalán hotel at the resort.

In August 2006, the Company signed a Management Agreement with Paramount Shrigley Hall Hotel Golf & Country Club in England to manage a significant upgrade of its golf facilities.
